Low Water Protection
The Howden WT range of immersion heater is specifically designed for use in wash sinks, sterilising sinks, etc, where there is a risk of the elements becoming uncovered and exposed to the air. If the heater elements do become uncovered, the in-built low water protection thermostat will switch the electricity to the elements off.
