Wash or Rinse Applications
Wash and rinse processes are often requirements in food or industrial processes. Our removable core ranges are extremely robust and are suitable for heating tanks where items are loaded or dipped in. Other ranges are suitable where hot water is sprayed onto objects. Speak to us if the water contains additives as these may need to be taken into account when selecting the materials and construction of the heater.
Where items are dipped into a tank or a process is run intermittently, immersion heaters fitted to a tank will provide a good solution. There will however be a heat up period until the tank reaches operating temperature.
Where the process is constant, a flow heater may be a good option. This will heat water almost immediately. Where the demand is variable or start-stop, an immersion heater fitted to a tank will provide a better solution. This is because a flow heater needs to be cooled with cold water before the water flow is switched off otherwise the water in the flow heater will over-heat due to the residual heat in the elements.
